I was pleased to hear that the National Capital Commission (NCC) agreed to put your dream in action. I am sure they were as impressed by your efforts as I was.

Once again it was a pleasure to have met with you and to have become informed on your plans for Canadian maples. I am glad that my office was able to assist you in pursuing this important initiative.

I send my congratulations to both you and Maple Leaves Forever for this successful endeavour. I look forward to seeing an Ottawa that is filled with truly Native Canadian maples.
