Thank you to all our applicants for a successful Spring!
This was a record spring planting season for us. We subsidized the planting of some 7,850 Native Maple saplings. The totals in 2012 and 2013 were respectively 4,800 and 4,100 so a welcome and significant increase in 2014.
The most popular species by far was, as usual, Sugar at 6,250 followed by Red, Silver, Freemani and Black Maple. Most trees ordered were in the 1.5 to 2 metre height range.
We are continuing to process and approve subsidized applications for containerized trees, so keep them coming!

Thank you to the Boerhofs in Uxbridge who sent us this note and photos of their new Native Maples being planted!
“I wanted to show you that our new trees have even planted with love and appreciation.
Thank you for the care andstewardship of our Earth. We really respect the work you do.
We are planning on 100% survival.
And hope to get more for our property lines next year.
Many thanks
Julie and Leo Boerhof”
We love to hear back from Ontarians who have planted MLF certified Native Canadian maples on their property!
